U.S. News Best College Ranking

USD has been ranked #92 amongst U.S. News and World Reports's National Universities. According to U.S. News, schools in the National University category offer a full range of undergraduate majors, plus masters' and Ph.D. programs. These colleges also are committed to producing groundbreaking research!

Retention Data

Our first-year retention rate for students that entered Fall 2011 is 90%, the highest in USD's history and a 3-percent increase from the previous year.

LLC Retention Rates (Fall 2011-Fall 2012):

92.7% - Honors
92.4% - Social Justice
92.3% - Sustainability
92.5% - All LLCs
90.0% - All first-year students
88.9% - Non-LLC students

Football Tailgate

Saturday, September 22nd vs. Valparaiso
Tailgate from 11:30 a.m. in Eagen Plaza
Game kickoff at 1 p.m.

Tickets to this football game can be picked up from the Jenny Craig Pavilion Ticket Office. Faculty and staff members receive free admission to all USD athletic events and are eligible for up to four tickets per sporting event.

Each employee is eligible to receive four food vouchers good for one meal at the tailgate. Food vouchers must be picked up prior to the football game in the Department of Human Resources, Maher 101. The deadline is September 21, 2012.
