Alejandro Cervantes Receives CHR@USD Recognition Award
Please help us congratulate Alejandro Cervantes in the Wellness area for being nominated and receiving the CHR@USD Recognition Award. Alejandro was recognized on April 19 at a special luncheon where he and the other CHR@USD Recognition Award winners were presented a special gift for their service to the university.
USD Community Picnic and 50/50 Raffle
On May 30, USD will be holding it's annual employee picnic using the theme "All in the Family". All employees are invited to attend the event which will be held from 1-4 p.m. Like last year, competitions will be held between the different divisions at USD for the prestigious Torero Cup. Last year, Student Affairs fielded two excellent teams. An email will be going out soon to begin preparing for this intense day of competition. CHR will also be holding their customary chicken toss, as well as some new games not only for employees but also for many of the children who will be attending.
50/50 raffle tickets have been distributed to various members of the CHR committee. Ticket prices are $1 for 2 tickets, $5 for 12 tickets. If you are interested in purchasing raffle tickets, please contact Kenny Eng at keng@sandiego.edu or visit Hahn UC 232. 50% of the proceeds will go to the winner of the raffle and the remaining 50% will go to fund the CHR Wellness Programs, including employee yoga and the monthly walk.
