The Buddhist Diaspora in India Photo Exhibit
"The Buddhist Diaspora in India" is a photography exhibition organized by Atreyee Phukan (English) and Dominik Huber (photographer) that offers a visual portal into the life and landscape of Buddhists and Buddhism in northern and north-east India. The artist gives articulation to a diverse and candid range of pilgrims and architecture in this presentation of the full-life of a people and faith His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama has spent his life serving. These photographic media join with other multidisciplinary activities across the university campus as USD prepares for the visit of His Holiness the Dalai Lama on April 18.
The date and time for the formal opening reception will be announced soon. This project was made possible through generous funds from the Offices of Community Service Learning and the Vice Provost. For more information contact Atreyee Phukan, ext. 7634, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Summer On Campus Housing
Summer housing is available for all current USD students who attended this spring or will attend next fall. Being enrolled in summer classes or working on campus is not a requirement. Please share the attached with students you know or work with.
