March 29, 2012 Congratulations Women's Basketball Congratulations to the Women's Basketball team who made it to the Final Four of the Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT) this past Wednesday. With last Sunday's exciting win over Washington, the 26-8 Toreros made their way to face Oklahoma State in Stillwater, OK. Members of the campus community sent the team off in style on Tuesday morning (watch the video here) and gathered in Frank's Lounge on Wednesday evening to support our team. Though Oklahoma State came away with the win in the end, we are all extremely proud of our Toreros and are eagerly looking forward to their next season! We would like to thank all of those who helped coordinate the rally and the viewing party for their support of USD Athletics. The available options are: Shreddy Betty Out of Service "Shreddy Betty" is currently down in the storage facility at the old Coke property. Facilities is working to get power to the shredder since it requires a higher power supply than the facilities offer. If they are unable to get the appropriate amount of power to the shredder, the university will begin to export the documents that need to be shredded to a company that securely shreds official documents. The Office of Sustainability is working with Procurement on this issue and hopefully it will be resolved in the next couple of days. Thank you for your patience.
