Relay for Life Recap

We would like to thank all the students, faculty, administrators, staff, and student organizations for their support and participation in USD Relay for Life 2014. The 5th annual event would not have been possible without the incredible leadership of the student committee led by chairperson Megan Huynh '15 and student advisor Michelle Powelson '14. USD Relay for Life 2014 hosted a record number of participants (nearly 600) and raised over $40,300 and counting for the American Cancer Society. Please see the local news coverage clips below:

Also, it is worth noting that USD won the annual Relay for Life San Diego Challenge in fundraising more dollars than San Diego State University the week of February 24 – 28!

Employee Giving Campaign Video

As part of the Capital Campaign USD is currently engaged in, Student Affairs is participating in the USD Employee Giving campaign. We are hoping to shape this inaugural USD Employee Giving campaign to be an opportunity for us to learn about each other and inspire our dynamic as a community. Toward that end, we want to hear from you and hear your story!

We need a few volunteers to join us on Tuesday, April 1 at the Tecolote Canyon Courtyard (next to the One Stop) for 5-7 minutes to record a short clip about what brought you to USD, what energizes/inspires your work at USD, and why you are "Proud To Be a Torero". If you are interested in helping with this project, please review the schedule below and email torerolife@sandiego.edu to sign up!
