Thanksgiving with Residential Life While the majority of our residents travel home to families during the Thanksgiving holiday, there are several that remain on campus, such as our growing international population. Every year, Residential Life staff sponsor a dinner for any students that are still in the residence halls. This event provided students with the opportunity to find a little "home away from home" in Missions Crossroads, as approximately 25 residents joined a handful of RAs and Resident Ministers to celebrate the holiday. One student even brought her mother to the dinner, as she was visiting for the weekend! Students from all areas of campus stopped by and interacted with each other, and a few stayed around after dinner to watch football together. Rosy Mancillas Lopez, Resident Minister in San Buenaventura, opened the dinner with a prayer and the opportunity for everyone to speak to what they are thankful for. A special thanks to Janice Blanton for putting the dinner together!
