USD Health Survey- Pencil Us In

This is the final week for the USD Health Survey. Students have only a few days left to add their input to health issues on our campus. Please continue to encourage students to complete the USD Health Survey.

Student participation in this survey will provide university administrators with current, relevant data about students’ health and the information will be used to enhance campus-wide health promotion and prevention services. Five participants will win $100 in cash. For more information regarding this survey please contact the Center for Health and Wellness Promotion.  

Thank you for helping the Student Wellness staff encourage student involvement. 

Employee Recognition and Service Luncheon

Congratulations to all of the recipients of the Employee Recognition and Service Award last Tuesday. We thank them all for their years of service to the university!

Thanksgiving Feast with Residential Life

Do you know any students who are staying in San Diego for the Thanksgiving holiday? Residential Life is hosting it's annual Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday, November 22 in the Missions Crossroads Lounge. Please feel free to invite students to participate in the annual football game viewing, snacks and appetizers, and a Thanksgiving meal.

USD Parents Associate Award of Excellence

Congratulations to Dr. Moises Baron who was nominated and selected for the USD Parents Association Award of Excellence. The award is presented to a USD employee who has made a significant impact on the lives of USD students and parents.

The award was presented at the Homecoming and Family Weekend Football Game during half time Saturday, October 13. Moises was visiting his daughter Michelle at Rutgers University during Family Weekend, and received the award at a meeting this week.

International Photo Contest

Please help us thank RA Nick Collins and the Vistas staff who helped plan and coordinate the International Photo Contest. If you would like to see the exhibit, visit the Hahn UC Exhibit Hall!

Graduate and Law Student Fight for Air Walk

On Saturday, November 10th, the Graduate Student Council rallied graduate and law students to be a part of the USD team in the Fight for Air Walk in downtown San Diego. Afterwards, everyone gathered at Bub's for some appetizers and socializing. Thanks to Brianna Tracy (Marine Science) and Lindsay Sharon (Nursing) for their efforts in planning the event!
