Welcome back! Wishing everyone a strong start to a prosperous semester!

Become a BACCHUS-Certified Peer Health Educator

Campus Connections and the Peer Education Nation are recruiting! This is an opportunity for students to enhance their resume, prepare for a pre-health degree, learn something new and help their friends. The training is on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in Hahn UC 104 and students can pre-register by emailing CHWP@sandiego.edu.

All Faith Service

The All Faith Service will be held on Thursday, February 2 at 12:15 p.m. in Shiley Theatre. The theme is Live, Love, Give: Our Rights and Responsibilities inspired by the CST principle, Rights and Responsibilities, chosen by the Council for the Advancement of Catholic Social Thought for the spring semester.

This year the reflection will be given by Sister Patricia Cruise, S.C. the recently appointed director and CEO of Fr. Joe's Villages. As in past years, participants include members of the USD community and representatives of various faith traditions, who through song, poetry, chant, dance and narration highlight their different beliefs. Since the service is scheduled in Shiley Theatre, again this year, this will allow us to utilize media technology more fully.
